Personal Lines Account Manager for Newmarket Brokerage
This role is accountable for initiating renewal calls to existing clients and being a first point of contact for client inquires, all while sourcing opportunities for cross selling/upselling/referrals.
Goal of Role:
Personal insurance targets are achieved through the successful engagement and retention of existing clients. Creating trusted Client experiences that are built on keeping them informed about changes within the insurance industry
Key Accountabilities
1. Retention of existing Personal Insurance Clients
2. Cross selling of products to existing Personal Insurance Clients.
3. Solicitation of Referrals from existing Insurance Clients
4. Foster a culture within the personal insurance team and with the Clients that is of
our brand and mindset
Accountabilities include:
Develop new relationships
• Engage (inbound & outbound) existing clients 60 days in advance of renewal
date to discuss insurance needs per monthly predefined target.
• Cross sell (e.g.; home, cottage, auto, etc.) per predefined target
• Solicit Referrals from existing clients per predefined target

• Conduct meetings with sales team members
• Assign work to sales team members
• Represent the Company at external events
• Analyse sales and market data
• Implement improvements to sales processes
• Interview, hire, train and assess the performance of team members
• Monitor the team’s input into the company’s BMS
• Market solutions to existing clients
Qualifications:
Education, Work Experience, Certifications & Designations
1 years’ experience servicing insurance clients as CSR or equivalent
RIBO licensed
Understanding of Power Broker preferred
Portal knowledge(asset) including Intact, Aviva, RSA, Intact, Gore, Unica, Travelers,
Economical
